Jazz musician wants a band at 2025 PFJF
Roo Friend, on jazz guitar and voice, is a veteran of the Australian music industry and is a graduate of the Diploma of Music in Jazz Performance at JMI. Roo worked with Elvis Presley's pianist Larry Muhoberac for 2 years and was a sideman to most of the older Aussie pop stars, on guitar, banjo, bass and drums. Roo studied guitar with Ike Isaacs.
He is now a part time grey nomad.
Roo is looking for a band for the 2025 PFJF. He doubles on banjo and uke. Roo is happy to play any style. Age 67, friendly, easygoing, and knows the repertoire.
