David Lole's Syncopaths
Classic traditional Jazz
With the retirement of Reg Packer's Double A Jazz Band at the 2018 Australian Jazz Convention, Canberra pianist, David Lole contacted the remaining original members of his first ever jazz band, the "Syncopaths", reformimg the group that performed most successfully with its debut at the 2010 Bundaberg Jazz Convention and at major Australian jazz festivals and conventions over the few years. Since reforming in early 2019 the band has subsequently wowed big audiences at the Inverloch Jazz Festival and Tooleybuc Jazz Weekend. Six of the original seven players, hailing from three Australian states and territories, playing an exciting, eclectic blend of classic traditional jazz at the Port Fairy Jazz Festival in 2020. With the new 2019 inclusion of legendary tuba maestro, Pip Avent, David Lole's Syncopaths are sure to have you on the edge of your seat tapping your feet or dancing in the aisles with their unique swinging style and tight, deft arrangements.
