The Harry Quail Trio is a newly formed three-piece Jazz ensemble based in Ballarat. Joining Harry on the saxophone is the exceptionally talented Jack McNamara on bass and the eternally groovy Peter Wynen on guitar. All three are currently studying music and between them share a variety of musical experience, including performing alongside James Morrison, Orchestra Victoria and on stage at Ballarat’s Spilt Milk festival. Joining them for the Port Fairy Jazz Festival are special guests Liam O'Neill on trumpet and Talen Galbraith on drums. Their repertoire include a plethora of works from the Be-Bop to Jazz Fusion, playing compositions by the likes of Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and Cannonball Adderly.
