Victorian Jazz Industry Strategic Action
Late in 2018, a group of jazz persons from across Victoria met in Geelong for a workshop. This workshop was facilitated by a funded consultant. The report produced is titled ‘Victoria’s Jazz Industry Strategic Action Plan’
Section 10 of the report outlines the specific actions that could be taken.
Section 10.1 outlines the specific State wide Collaborative actions. We are pleased to announce that we have three separate coordinators for the three major actions in this section. In brief they are:-
Section 10.2 outlines Actions for Individual Clubs, Venues, Festivals and Performance Organisers
This is the section that is the tool kit for organisations involved in Jazz. It has been sent to 26 Jazz Clubs and Festivals in Victoria to implement as they see fit.
The outcomes and progress of this plan will be monitored by the Port Fairy Jazz Festival and the results shared within the industry.
